Hugh Hefner, the 85-year-old founder of Playboy magazine, was today putting a brave face on his disappointment after his 25-year-old fiancée Crystal Harris called off their wedding.
Four hours after admitting on Twitter last night that his blonde bride had had “a change of heart”, the irrepressible Hefner was tweeting: “Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: Runaway Bride. Seems appropriate.”
The one thing that seemed to upset the octogenarian groom in the break-up was the loss of his favourite cocker spaniel.
“Crystal took Charlie with her when she left & I really miss him,” he tweeted. “The breakup is a heartbreaker but better now than after the marriage.”
At least Live Arico won't have to rehome the dog;);)
