How long do you need to keep financial paperwork for tax purposes in Tenerife?

Hi!
Does anyone know how long you have to keep financial paperwork for tax purposes here in Tenerife please?
I'm having a clearout this week and seem to have mountains of receipts/bank statements etc!

We normally say 5 years and 3 months after the effective date of the document in question - they can go back 4 tax years which is actually 5 calendar years three months ago.
