View Full Version : Other Will the Forest Fires in Tenerife affect my holiday? We fly in tomorrow

Hi all

We are due to fly to Adeje in Tenerife tomorrow, just heard about all the fires going on....is this likely to affect our holiday? not been told its cancelled or anything just a bit worried..

No, fire in Tenerife is nearly out but Adeje area is clear but very warm, will have no effect on holiday unless you wanted to drive up that way !
La Gomera is still causing grave problems - see main thread.

It will be Reina Sofia you fly into... there isn't an airport in Adeje, joke on the part of Harmonicama...

Not necessarily. Cardiff airport is nowhere near Cardiff, or Exeter for that matter..

I mean Exeter near Exeter not Cardiff..Or even Birmingham.

Frankfurt Airport is a joke, and Diyarbakir. *More like a bus stop

Hi are you back from Tenerife (Adeje) yet as we are going next week just wanted to know if all is OK now being mid August thanks! I have read the news etc but would just like to hear from a fellow holiday maker

Me too - I got lost in departures on my last trip... Try as I might, I just couldn't find the departure gates! Anyone else had this problem? ;)

I just hate trying to land on that very sloped runway, almost as steep as Siam Parks tower of power :wink:
