Try around San Eugenio. Florida Park is popular, they are self catering apartments for the over 50's. Also Club Atlantis, Los Geranios (some of the appartments can be noisy as there are some bars near by) and Villamar. Close to the center but quiet. Good luck though, if you only have two weeks to sort accomodation.

You could try the Cristian Sur or Tenerife Sur, both are quiet but quite central, easy access to bars and restaurants. Not too many steps as well.

We just got back from Victoria Court 2 and you could not pass them out for peace and quiet day and night . At night time you would hear a pin drop , I would recommend a ground floor apartment pool view so that your dad would not have to climb any steps .

Definately agree with Victoria Court 2, looking forward to our visit again in November:wave:
Victoria Court 1 is our favourite, nice people and clean communal areas, friiendly guests and Bar staff.
You have the choice of apartments location ie near the road where you get sunshine most of the day on the terrace/balcony or the other side away from the road where you get the sun later in the morning.

I would recommend Finca Salamanca (site here) (http://www.hotel-fincasalamanca.com/) in Guimar.
It is a 200 year old tobacco farm that has recently been converted into a rural hotel.
Very peaceful, not a child in sight. Quiet colonial style lounges, nice gardens.
No bars though, maybe just for a quiet weekend.
i would recomend el mirador complex just down the hill from beverly hills, at least you know the area and not to steep cus it's only half way up:wink:
Finca Salamanca looks fabulous........thanks for link.
will be on my wish list

€60 !!! tell that to all the people on here that are claiming illegal taxi drivers are stealing from the licensed ones. I think it is they that are stealing from the tourists.
It is definitely no more than €25 to Los Cris, just make sure you agree the price before you get in. You shouldn't have to do this but there are crooks out there. Also make them aware at the start of the journey that you want a receipt.
