The Italian Chapel, Orkney

Just got back from a few days in Orkney and visited the Italian Chapel, built by Italian POWs on Orkney in 1944. Given the use of two Nissan huts and only materials that could be found in the camp, the POWs built something very special on this small Island off the Orkney mainland. I made a wee video of the chapel using a few photographs I took and below is the result. I loved the peace and tranquillity of this place and visited it twice even though I was only on the Islands for two days. See for yourselves...
