SUNDAY 16th SEP - kick off Midday

CD TENERIFE vs CAUDAL DEPORTIVO

Can Tenerife keep up their perfect start against new kids on the block Caudal Deportivo? Three wins out of three for the blanquiazules so far and top of the league to boot but it is early days.

Glad to say NO TV coverage(sorry fans outside of Tenerife) but the last 8 home games have been on live so it is about time. Should be a half decent crowd.

Before hand Tenerife play in the Spanish Cup 2nd round away to CD Alcoyano(near Benidorm) tomorrow on Wed 12th Sep - 19.45.

Is it too late for someone to get along to the match tomorrow? My cousin is visiting and has just said he would like to go and watch a match while he is here. I am guessing by this time any coaches will be sold out ... any advice?

Cheers

2-0 victory today.

Played 4, won 4 in the league.

Top of the league!

Roll on the next home game, a good crowd and my first appearance of the season.

Some Elgin and Aberdeen lads go up regularly from the Hoops Bar to meet up with locals before the game Dandy, if your ever interested in hooking up.

Another great result for CDT today. Four wins out of four now, not just that itīs the style of football that everyone is enjoying. It could well have been more today but Suso was sent off for Tenerife with 10 mins remaining so it was a case of playing the game out after that.

Aridane scores again! There are so many players that have improved, Luismi Loro, Chechu to name two.
Video of the goals will be added as soon as possible.

One way traffic by the look of the highlights.

What was the crowd?
4 figures for Zamora CF game in a couple of weeks?

About 7 and a half thousand.

Four figures? If it went below 4 figures we would be in trouble! We are not CD Marino for gods sake(nothing against them btw).

I am sure the crowds will build slowly but surely. Not gaining promotion last June was a major blow but the support (lets be honest the Tenerife hardcore is around 8,000 or so) has remained solid enough.
These midday kick offs at this time of the year are a killer with the hot sun beating down as most stands have no shade and coupled with the crisis it all effects attendances.
