Are the fish foot spas still open in south Tenerife?

Does anyone know if the Fish Foot Spa`s are still open in either Los Cristianos or Las Americas.

Hi yes 1 is I don't know about the others,it is on the sea front in Los Cristianos by the jetty where the boat trips are sold.

Passed at least half a dozen on the walk from Fanabe to PDLA a week or so ago.

Sadly, there were few or no customers in the ones I passed.

Maybe there are too many of them now , or maybe this particular bubble has burst!

I have seen about two Fish Spa`s in Pueblo Canaria (Playa de Las Americas)

it is a bit strange that they seem to opening up everywhere in tenerife and yet they have nearly all closed here in the west mids due to health and safety issues? does it mean that the spanish throw caution to the wind on things like this? or are we to strict?:confused:

A good question!

One of my friends who works for the NHS and is a researcher on infection control in hospitals saw the one in Los Gigantes the other month and said from what he now knows about fish spa's he wouldn't ever use one. As you say, are we too protective or is there merit to this.
