Hi everyone.
how much is a taxi from the TFS to Peurto del la Cruz. We are arriving on Dec 16th at 00;50 in the morning and are really looking forward to our holiday. What will a taxi cost?

Definitely look at getting a hire car instead, you'll be looking at at least 100 euro each-way in a taxi, it'll work out a lot cheaper just hiring a car.

If you do look at carhire, Orcar carhire, the same pickup point as the good value Autoreisen are also worth a look - they both use the same pool of cars and sometimes Orcar are a couple of €'s cheaper.

I find the only real difference is that Autoreisen has a slighly larger range of cars to chooose from than Orcar.

I'd hire a car from Autoreisen at TFS airport .

You can make an online reservation without paying upfront, then if you change your mind its free to cancel.

Also, if price goes down you can cancel original reservation in favour of new one .

Also you can hire for a day, pick up at airport and drop off at puerto. There are a couple of companies that do this. I don't know the opening times of the rent a car offices in the airport.

By the time you land, go through passport control, wait for your luggage, have a cuppa and brekkie in the arrivals area... you could catch a Titsa bus to Puerto direct.... probably cost you approx, 8 euros per person.... with a Bono Bus would be cheaper, apparently you can buy them in the airport (oh just told me) at the La Arpista (but it won't be open when you arive, but you could get one in Puerto for your trip back... well worth it as the Bono Bus gives you approx 40% off the cash price bus fare) - OK this is the bus you need:

though this one leaves Cristianos at 8.25am so would arrive at airport about 8.50 or just before (not sure, don't quote me on that)

otherwise you could catch any other bus that goes to Santa Cruz and get off at the main bus station (after the refinery) and change buses... should be fairly simple.... and HEAPS cheaper :wink2: have a great hol....

this one goes from airport to Santa Cruz every half hour or so:

and this is an express (no silly stops at everyones house) from Santa Cruz to Puerto Cruz bus stations:

or this one:

I don't drive so I have to think of other ways to get places, especially if one of my two chauffers are unavailable
