There is a very good English speaking Doctor at Surgery next to Irish Rover upstairs - if not sure ask at bar and they will show you .

Itīs along from the main road road that runs from St Eugenes - along from Banco Santander ,above Uniform shop across from Laguna Park 1 between Marios restaurant and Irish Rover- just go up and speak to receptionist .
One of workers in Irish Rover will advise you as he plays golf with Doctor .

This Doctor is private, I think. You will have to have medical insurance or pay. Best to ask the receptionist.

Are you a new resident? If you are a pensioner, and planning to live here long term, it is always good to register with the system and get a health card.

Has anyone been to the doctors surgery in San Blas Golf del Sur, in the Plaza square? Do they speak English? Are they German? Are they good? I am so fed up with the Excellent (ha!) Medical Centre.

BTW Karen Whittaker is no longer there In Los Chris. Guess who is......another Excellent Medical centre!

Anyone know if Karen has retired?

I only went there twice. The first time the medication didn't work. When I went back I was told that I ought to go to the hospital. Doctor (whose English was fairly good but heavily accented) said she would be very interested in the final diagnosis and could I go back and tell her! This didn't prevent her charging me another 40 euros!
Oh, and she had to ask the secretary for help in writing the letter for the hospital as she was herself Hungarian and her Spanish wasn't good enough.
We now go to the National Health doctor in Las Chafiras if we need non urgent help.
