why does my signature disappear?

Hello,
Can somebody please advise why my signature gets deleted?
I initially thought it was because of the font size, and I reduced its size to smaller.
It was only 3 lines, and a web link.

Appreciated in advance. Probably because you haven't got over the minimum post count for it to appear. Did you read the rules about signatures?

It doesnt say anything about minimum number of posts? Is there a minimum?

* Must be added via your profile page and not manually to each post
* Have a signature which does not contain more than three colours (including black).
* Not have a signature containing lines of symbols (-, ~, *, etc).
* Not have a signature containing affiliate or any form of tracking variables.
* Not have a signature that occupies more than 4 vertical lines (viewed at 1024x768).
* Not have a signature containing more than 4 links (including max of 2 commercial links).

Newbies signatures will not appear. Spammers come on and put on one or two posts. If their signature appears then it allows them to spam, doesn't it... so it stands to reason they will be disabled on new members. :)

So, until you get over the minimum posts, your signature will not appear. Not sure if it's 10 or 25.

PS: The maximum size for signatures is size 1. This is set in the code, so any attempt to override this will also be removed.

lol, I think we should respect any community (physical or virtual), for there has always been a history before you join a group.
So, I dont need to contact the mederators, or anything about my signature then.

My signature disappeared, all of its own accord.
it was the same for years, more or less, but has now vanished.
I've set up another one, so it's no hassle, really, but why did it suddenly disappear?

And, just to be more confusing...

In this (http://www.tenerifeforum.org/tenerife-forum/showthread.php?13264-Homes-needed-for-two-beautiful-Cats-Aid-kitties!) thread, my new signature (created today) has appeared in my initial post, yet my subsequent posts don't have any signature, new or old.
Why is that, I wonder?
