don't think that the car or price is a problem, just that not too many people want a Spanish registered RHD car. Would you be better off taking to UK and re-registering it ?

tenerifegal
13-07-2011, 12:04
we dont find it any different driving a rhd here never had any problems and as its automatic, makes it easier, we can take it back with us, and re registering doesnt cost like it does here, but its the driving back we dont fancy doing , hence offering it to someone at a cheap price

Have to say that the right hand drive will always be a problem here, auot or manual, no different. If you don,t get a decent offer, advertise it to anyone who fancies a holiday, driving it back to the UK etc. You pay the petrol and Ferry costs and you can then sell it at a price which you find more acceptable.
I,m out, so don,t ask. Many younger people might fancy that!

I'd be up for driving it back to the UK for you, assuming all costs paid for ferry, fuel, etc.

and I consider myself a young 40 year old :-)

Perhaps they await your response to my suggestion! They are a bunch of paranoid, timid souls on here. 20 years ago I,d have jumped at this proposal!

I have already jumped at your suggestion. Pm me if you wish to discuss this further - it's not as expensive as you might think.

Bump ! Thats now a bargain price, but the RHD may still put most off. If it was LHD I'd have snapped your hand off !

tenerifegal

I honestly dont see what the big issue is with RHD CAR we have driven here for 3 years and never had any problems i also drive hire cars from time to time which are LHD, and i never notice a difference, lol maybe you should come and try it for yourselves see how easy and simple it is, and you get a bargain priced car

atlantico
16-07-2011, 14:18
well, the biggest problem is overtaking, I like to see around the car in front before doing so

tenerifegal
16-07-2011, 14:31
we have over taking in the 3 years we have been driving believe it or not

TSD Phil

Lol @ Tenerifegirl.

I would think that overtaking wasn't a problem seeing as how you must be sitting higher up and will be able to see over the top of cars.

A real bargain though.

Do what I suggested at the beginning and you,ll get your money,s worth in the UK.
Ask yourself how many people want a LHD in the UK? When I had people involved in the car trade in Glagow I remember picking up a "7" series BMW for 1000 quid when the book value was over 5000 just because it was a "LeftHooker"!
