Hi. When in Tenerife we have to meet friends at the Abama in Guia.

Has anyone any idea of the likely taxi fare, please? Thanks.

No idea frankly but I would guess between 10 and 30 euros. What I do know is that it is approx 24km and an alternative would be the 477 fast bus from Los Cris which stops right outside the Abama Resort, less than 5 euros with a bono ticket

Between 10 and 30 got to be kidding....more like 40 to 50€ why not hire a car or jump on the bus at least to get you there then a cab back if it's late.

Rent a chopper. Cheaper and more convenient.

Usually about 30 to Los Olivos so reckon about 45-50 ish.

Thanks for this. Taxi is more expensive that I'd have imagined. C'est la vie.

I know the place and remember a bus stopping nearby, but I will need to arrive on time, so to speak.

There's no drinking involved, so maybe I can hire a car! Any recommendations for a firm having full sized cars (in Cristianos)?

Fares are going to be more than 20 Euros, I think its more recommendable to hire a car.

Or about 3 euro a head (possibly less) on a bono card on the 477 (weekdays only) or the 473 bus routes which stop right outside Abama. Hourly service at least (roughly half-hourly during the week when both are operating).

Hardly an issue with reliability. Last 473 back to Los Cristianos is something like 11.30 at night, often full of pretty young West-End things off for a spot of clubbin'
