BANKIA, the group that owns La Caja de Canarias, will launch a massive auction today, Friday, October 19th, of more than 1,100 properties, with discounts of between 30 and 60 per cent and in some cases prices will start from just 40,000 euros.

According to sources in the company, it is the largest auction organised by Habitat Bankia, the company that manages the real estate assets of the BFA-Bankia group.

A new feature is that the auction will also include properties from property developers.

The auction will cover new construction property throughout the country, inMadrid,Valencia, Castilla y Leon and La Rioja, and Castilla-La Mancha, the Canary Islands, Andalusia andAragon.

Of the total assets, 677 are from the portfolio of Bankia Habitat and more than 440 come from 16 developers.

The auction will be open until November 13.

The bank will finance the purchase of real estate property, while providing 100% of the amount of the sale, with the maximum of 80% of the appraised value, a maximum repayment term of 40 years and an interest rate of Euribor plus a differential of 0.90 points, no origination fees.

Besides the auction, Bankia Habitat maintains the campaign launched in September, which offers 619 properties with discounts of up to 60% and runs until November 15th.

Well, they are going to be writing off a lot of loans!

I hope everyone is banking with the Banca March, they seem to be the most stable bank in Tenerife.
