The Centro de Ferias y Congresos de Tenerife, just across the road from the Auditorio in Santa Cruz, welcomes the nineteenth Canaries Exhibition Competition for Exotic Birds, European Wildlife, Hybrids, Parakeets and Parrots, which runs until Sunday, October 21st.
The event has been organised by the Teide Finch Association, in collaboration with the Tenerife Cabildo and the city ofSanta Cruz de Tenerife. The opening ceremony was attended by President of theCanary Islands, Paulino Rivero, President of the Cabildo, Ricardo Melchior, the deputy mayor ofSanta Cruz, Hilario Rodriguez and President of the Association, Nicolás Sosa .
The exhibition will be open in the Multipurpose Room of the International Exhibition and Conference Centre from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00 hours. On Saturday October 20th it will remain open continuously from10.00 to 20.00 hours, while on Sunday it will be open from 10.00 until 14.00 hours.
Contest organisers announced the presence of some very special, exotic birds that will be interesting for the public as well as add wonderful colour to the event. They with be on show with canaries, European fauna, hybrids, parakeets and parrots.
This competition is one of the most important events of its kind and the best and most important national and international judges will be present.
