I have been informed that the schools in Guia de Isora will not be open tomorrow, and it's also posted on the Guia de Isora website HERE (http://www.guiadeisora.org/agenda/10-2012/suspension-de-las-clases-en-guia-de-isora-por-fuerte-temporal-miercoles-31-de-octubre). Also one of my students who goes to the Instituto in Adeje mentioned that they might also off, so please check in your local municipality.
TV Canarias says that all Islands apart from Lanzarote are on Orange Alert HERE (http://www.rtvc.es/noticias/canarias-en-alerta-por-lluvia-y-viento-93396.aspx).
The official announcement at 8.30pm on the Gobierno de Canarias website is that the schools are open as normal (http://www.gobiernodecanarias.org/noticias/index.jsp?module=1&page=nota.htm&id=151129), but obviously different municipalities may be advising otherwise.
