We use Jet2 for the 22k luggage ,Ryanair we were thankful for when Globespan went belly up, TCook flight times bit off for us
BA would perhaps shake them all up
Definitely something the Island has been missing since the BA 'GB Airways' days and Monarch going 'low-cost', hopefully the better service and included extras will prove popular with punters!

I saw on here recently that BA are going to start flying to Tenerife again next year. Can't get any flights up on their website.
Does anyone have any further info. please?

Thanks, they look a bit pricey, more than we have paid in May with Easyjet.

Its about time they start flying again why they stoped in 2007 is beyond belief good service and connections to middle east
we only ever flew with BA once and found the staff ignorant, condescending and up their selves:dontknow:, how anyone in the trolly dolly trade can think that they are above the people they serve is beyond me:dontknow:, but we have never experienced that with any other airline:wink:
Somebody is either twisting their arm or heavily subsidising them its not the sort of route BA are fighting to get these days
It'll be interesting to see how long they last

They sold the routes to easy jet. I presume part of the contract was for x ammount of years they couldn't use those routes

I too found the cabin staff to be rude - they treated us like cattle. I was in business class and the attitude was no better!!

Glad BA are flying to Tenerife again used them all the time until they sold out to easyjet. I found the service was better everytime and when all the extras (baggage drinks food check-in seats card charges ect) are taken into account not that much more expensive if at all. Welcome back British airways :jump2:
