FROM the 9th to 11th of November, former British football players will gather at the football field at the Las Torres sports complex in Adeje.
Adeje’s Sport Councillor Adolfo Alonso Ferrera announced that Adeje will be hosting theVIISoccer Experience football tournament, which brings together former professional players from theUK.
Alonso Ferrera said, “This tournament has been held for six years and this year some of the former professional players include Nayin of Zaragoza and Tottenham and Darren Jackson former Celtic player and Scottish national team selection.”
This year there is a new addition, the Councillor said, “For the first time, this year children aged seven and eight will be offered a parallel tournament between teams from the area and fromBritain.”
Soccer Experience will start on Friday November 9th at19:30 pm.Saturday’s activities will start from10:30 amand will end at19:00. The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, November 11th at17:30.
