Pet tortoise on Fairways, Golf del Sur

Will seem odd this one, but a friend of mine called and asked if i could post this. A couple on Fairways are having work done at their villa. They have a large (football sized) South African Tortoise that has gone missing, hard to see how it could escape. Has anyone been offered one or heard/seen anything? Couple are quite upset, thanks, Sean.

I had one in the UK and she was always getting out...you wouldnt believe how fast they can move when they want to and climb and dig.....:dontknow:

Mine was found by our next door neighbours' about 4 acres away and taken to a tortoise refuge, never really understood why they didnt ask us if she was ours but she was ready to breed so it was probably the best thing. I think her 2 or 3 mile hike was probably looking for a boyfriend!
