Hi

Is there someone with a background in the motor trade or an enthusiast who would be willing ( for a fee, of course) to check over a Triumph TR4A that I would like to buy. I am not looking for a 100 page report but an assessment of the condition of the bodywork ( which is supposed to be rust free) and a check to see that the car drives well and that everything works!
Thanks
Bob

Welcome Bob :welcome:

Some info here (http://www.classicandperformancecar.com/buying/octanebuyingguide/231309/triumph_tr4_checkpoints.html) may help.

It may help members if you say where you/the car is located?

Hi again

Thanks for the info. The car is located at Laguna Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

If there isn't forum member who can help, can anyone recommend an english speaking garage?

thanks
Bob

Bob did you get the help you needed with the TR? My OH has lots of experience in classic car restoration and is bored! We are in Golf del Sur.

Hi
Yes,
Mark from Ashro motors had a look at the TR for me - very helpful bloke. The TR despite being described as 100% corrosion free turned out to be a rusty lemon!
Cheers
Bob
