AROUND 70 people have registered to participate in the “I Kayak Crossing 15 km, Santiago del Teide” being held on Saturday 17th November at noon in Los Gigantes. The event is organised by the Sports Department of Santiago del Teide, councillor Évora Guillermo Marrero and San Andrés Canoe Club Atlantic in collaboration with the Federation of Canoeing Canaria.
There are numerous categories; distances will depend on the category, from 15 km for “Sprinter” and 10km for “Traditional”.
Councillor, Guillermo Marrero Évora said that, “it is a success the number of participants that we will be in Los Gigantes, especially when this is the first event of its kind to be done in the town. I have only to thank all those that have registered and especially all the sports clubs.
