We have seen this amazing building from the Motorway many times and have passed on the road in front of it but have never been in it!
Last Friday evening we and our friends took up the invitation to the opening of the latest exhibition of paintings, sculpture and photography at the Studio in the Magma Centre called: Sala Picon and we had an amazing evening.
The artworks are awesome, colourful and thought-provoking and so sensitively arranged that you had time and space to wander, contemplate, admire and enjoy each piece of work. There was just the right number and I looked with hubby and family and later wandered alone to enjoy the exhibits all over again. Prices are reasonable and information about the artists and photographers (who are of course artists) are clearly displayed. The building is made to complement displays in both its shapes and colour. We marvelled at the concrete inventiveness of each area and the feeling of grandeur and cosiness which seem to permeate the studio.A phenomenal building. The bar was really good too! The men in our company approved the beer!!
Congratulations to 9 Plus on this new venture and the exhibitors. Seems like the exhibits will change in January. Well worth a visit and I can't wait for the next display. Hubby says it's now a 'must' for our Tenerife hols. and he's not usually into art!!
