View Full Version : Royal Variety Show
I have just been watching this show, I think it is about time Rod Stewart "hung his boots up", along with the likes of Paul McCartney, they are well past their "sell by date".

Oh no Myra , as I just love Rod .... well it takes all kinds I suppose :cheeky:
He has been good in his time, but a bit passed it now.

Didn't see it all (thankfully) I missed Girls Aloud and One Direction. God I'll be winning the lottery next. *checks ticket*
What I saw of it was the worst Royal Variety Show ever. Three Chinese tenors signing a "funny folk song" really took the prawn cracker.
They were as funny as "Toothache".
They were as funny as "Toothache".
Diversity and Pudsey were the stars .........'nough said !

felt sorry for the Queen having to sit through that....only watched it cos I thought Take That were on.Robbie was good
I think Robbie was rubbish, I think he is pompous and arrogant, the dog was definately the star.

That dog is certainly brilliant

Thought Robbie's first song was terrible.."pitching problems" :cheeky: but I love the song Mr Bojangles, although I do agree; he is a bit too full of himself these days.

Mr Bojangles is one of my fav songs
That Rhod Gilbert the Welsh fella who's stealing a living as a comedian was crap,he took 5 minutes telling one joke about jacket potatoes and im still waiting for the punchline, his voice also grates on me,any comedian who resorts to shouting to get his point across is a no go in my book! Another overhyped lucky man!
