Hello!

I'm visiting Playa de las Americas for the first time in my life, and I can't find a Casino in Tenerife who's hosting No Limit Hold'em. Is it illegal, or might I find a place when I arrive?
and if it is illegal and you want a game, please PM me. Interrested in Heads up, tournies and Cash games, buy in 400-1200$ (but could accept more or less, I just want take a couple of beers with someone who enjoys the game as much as I do ;) )

If you have a home, some money and chips, I'll bring beer ;)...

EDIT: BTW, I'm there from 17-22 of december ;)
EDIT 2: yeah, I'll bring some good ol' fashioned Snus too. And probably some Whisk(e)y and Spirits...

If you find a good game let me know.
My max buy in is about 30€ though and I play tournament NL Hold em
there used to be a game on Saturdays in the Golf del Sur at this level but I´m not sure its still running.
A forum member called Megsdad might know as he used to go there sometimes.

Las Americas casiino has a game on Thursdays. 150 + 30 to the house. There are a few tables , knockout to final table. You will need to take your passport.

Have you any idea how many people they normally have playing? Or the sort of standard they are?

there are quite a few players, think it can be 80+. Never been myself, just got told how much it was and how many tables (forgot the anwser to that). With the amount of money in the pot I'd say there would be a few sharks in the water.

Tempted to check that out one night.
Haven't played for ages though - live or online so would have to get some practice in first I think!

Cos Poker aint gambling if you´re good! :)

I'm led to believe that it may be less to enter, 100 + 15 to the house. They have about 14 tables of 6 or 8 per table. There are some very good players who play pro.
