THE Granadilla Town Council’s Department of Works, headed by the popular Jose Manuel Garcia Mendoza, is currently undertaking improvement and conditioning works in the plaza de Santa Lucia, located in the historic heart of Granadilla.
The goal, said the Councillor, is to change the image of this emblematic area of the town, “And give it a more attractive image and prevent deterioration that occurs over time”.
Garcia Mendoza said that this reform is being carried out as a result of a project called ‘Beautify Granadilla’, aimed at preserving the environment, landscape improvement, cleaning high traffic areas and maintenance of public spaces, all of which is providing jobs for 20 unemployed people.
