Just wondered if anyone can help with information about fees for completing a property purchase.

We are in the process of buying an apartment in Torviscas Alto, on a residential complex.

The offer we made (€75,000) was accepted for the apartment and we are now finalising the purchase with our solicitor.

The fee quoted by our solicitor for the notary is €650, we thought it should be about half that from the research we did.

Do notary fees vary that much?

Hope your not planning on renting it out as a holiday let. If you are, the Notary fees will be the least of your problems. Just a warning in case you didn't know. :goodluck:

Contact one of the larger estate agents in Tenerife, someone like 'Clear Blue Skies', they will give you all of the info you need. Good luck with your purchase.
