Where can I hire a 50cc scooter in south Tenerife?

I am looking for a 50cc scooter for my friend she is out in January the 4th and needs one for scooting about on maybe hire or buy must be in safe good condition and legal. Can anyone tell me what is needed apart from Insurance can you just use your id and passport or do you need a provincial uk licence.?
