I thought I would start this to share any apps that people found to be really useful, really cool or just wacky. My first contribution is for the DM 1 drum machine. Everyone on the planet should own on if they are free as is this one for the moment (https://www.google.ie/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=dm1%20drum%20machine&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CDUQFjAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fitunes.apple.com%2Fen%2Fapp%2Fdm 1-the-drum-machine%2Fid431573951%3Fmt%3D8&ei=t9zeUMqtJcO50QXdqoGACg&usg=AFQjCNFSmvxcONrSVTBAiMmyo8To4PVpXA&sig2=bBXwpBKH4Z1hrjnio_UovQ&bvm=bv.1355534169,d.d2k) check it out. :)

Was recommended dropbox for my ipad for storing files, photos and videos. Ok, so it was free so downloaded it. Well, if I've read the instructions how to use it once, probably done it 1000 times, guess my brain is still in festive season mode!

Can anyone explain without too much terminology cos this is where I get confused!
Sorry to OP as just realised I've just hijacked the thread! :)

It was free, showing £4.99 now! - obviously after all the good reviews it had decided to start charging.
Wish there was a decent Scrabble available, I paid about £6.99 For it and its rubbish

Dropbox is a brill app! I followed the instructions and kind of muddled through but it works! You need ti sync it to your pc first off! I can take files from my pc and just drop them in! Keep trying Christa when you get it to perform properly you will find it a great app! I only have a cheapie 8" tablet but it has everything I need I bought a memory card so now have lots of storage!

Two free apps that I have started using are.....

Easy Writer Lite..Great for letter writing as opposed to emails.

HP ePrint.........Ideal for owners of HP Printers for photo printing up to A4 size, no fuss, just two clicks to print.

The tunein radio app lets you listen to radio stations from all over the world. I like listening to my local radio station from back home whilst lying in the sunshine at the beach! The weather reports make it all that much more enjoyable!

And the 'pro' version allows you pause/record and rewind live radio .

Not an app as such but www.showmystreet.com in favourites is quicker than messing about with Google street view

Personally prefer Dropbox for their great cloud storage capacity and features.
