This is more than a boat its a piece of minimalistic architecture.

And that's what I'm in to - minimalism

It's ugly!

Seen some very nice yachts in Ibiza & Tenerife but got to say that's not one of them!

It looks like something that's been knocked together in a back yard for a raft race.Might have had money but he had no taste.

Obviously designed by a committee (too many designers spoil the boat)

I think I remember John Noakes and Val Singleton making something very similar to this "yacht" using cereal boxes, egg cartons, and sticky back plastic on Blue Peter many years ago. I think they made a better job of it.

IT’S not often that the arrival of a lavish super-yacht arouses so much interest, but the ‘Venus’, owned by Apple founder the late Steve Jobs was received with a rare show of amazement when it docked in the port of Santa Cruz this week.

The ship, some 78 metres in length and of avant-garde minimalist design, arrived three months after its launch and after solving an embargo in the Dutch capital ofAmsterdamfor non-payment of several invoices to French millionaire Philippe Starck, who designed its interior.

The ‘Venus’ will remain in the capital for a few more days so its 15 member crew can rest and re-provision the ship for the next leg of its journey to Palm Beach, Florida.

It’s due to depart on Saturday 12th January at 10am. So if you want to see the super yacht get toSanta Cruz quick!
