Also, has anyone spoke to Councillor Steve McKenna from Santiago del Teide...? I'm sure they have, but if not, I'm just putting it out there as a suggestion, as he is British and on the Council, so may help with the cause. :)

Estoy horrorizado de que el Ayuntamiento de Santiago del Teide y la Policía local, han abandonado un perro en una casa a unos cientos de metros de las oficinas del Ayuntamiento. Este pobre perro ha estado viviendo allí por su cuenta durante más de dos meses, a pesar de todos los esfuerzos de la Asociación San Francisco de los Animales de conseguir que el perro de la casa a través de los canales oficiales. El Ayuntamiento ni siquiera están observando su propia Ordenanza De La Tenencia de Animales de Compañía Y Peligrosos protencialmente. Este perro debe ser removido de la casa y se ruegan que cooperen plenamente con la asociación con el fin de rescatar a un perro de la casa.

I am horrified to hear that both the Ayuntamiento of Santiago del Teide and the Policia Local have abandoned a dog in a house in Santiago del Teide only a few hundred meters from the Ayuntamiento offices. This poor dog has been living there, on his own, for over two months, despite all the efforts of Asociación San Francisco de los Animales to get the dog out through official channels. The Ayntamiento are not even observing their own Ordenanza de la tenencia de animales de compañía y potencialmente peligrosos.

This dog must be released and I cordially ask you to cooperate fully with the association in order to get this dog out of the house.

The petition only seems to have English residents' signatures. I was just wondering if there was a separate Spanish petition, or if this was the only one...?

We've signed the petition and e mailed the Santiago del Teide Council in Spanish as Goldenmaniac suggested , Steve McKenna is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard but yes it would be nice to know the exact location of this poor animal.
