There was a BOS?Halifax branch in the shopping centre at Fanabenear to the Jacaranda hotel (branch is at far end from hotel and up the stairs).

the halifax changed to Lloyds international. it is in fanabe plaza, fanabe, adeje.
i get free transfers from my uk halifax account to the lloyds account. worth looking at. good luck.
