Anyone know what date the kids are off school for Carnival this year?

Just been on the school website and it doesn't mention the holidays for carnival.
Does anyone know when they are off?

San Miguel are off from the 11th feb to the 15th inclusive, depends on the school though, but will be around that time....

San Miguel are off from the 11th feb to the 15th inclusive, depends on the school though, but will be around that time....It's dependent on each individual school, as it's not actually a set holiday by the Government.

All schools have about 7 days of holidays they can elect themselves. They usually use these for local fiestas... In the Canaries, most schools opt to take the same 4 or 5 days for Carnaval, though it's no compulsory to use their elective days over the Carnaval period. Therefore, the only way you will get the true dates for your particular school is to actually ask at the school itself, because they can vary on the days they choose to take.
