Hi all

Can anyone recommend someone who can supply TV in the Los Cristianos area? Our current person has not been able to keep our connection for more than a few days before it goes wrong. All we want is the five British channels and possibly a film channel.

Thereīs Premier, Miller rental, CSTI but coulnīt recommend any of them.:wall:

Why not try getting british TV through th internet

Speedytv.co.uk

approx 6 euros a month

you can watch it on your compu or get the necessary lead to connect your compu to yur tv. ( a small electrical sop near the sunday market may help with the leads)

VPNUK have supplied my system for years with no problems at all. One HDMI cable from computer to tv does the rest.

Ahhhhhhh works whenever hubby watches stupid sifi but as soon as I want to watch anything it stops working!!!!!!!!!!!!! Both the computers are getting chucked out the window soon

I have been back with Miller Rental for the last 3 months, its been stupidly crap at times, but in the last few weeks its been brilliant and we even have ITV2 +1. I am very happy with them now

been with CSTI for 8 years - never a problem. Depends upon your location for best signal, and accuracy of your aerial and that its pointing to correct place. Silencio must be a good location for it ! You can direct the aerial until you get a picture, but that don't mean its the BEST position for it, the signal can be picked up in quite a large adjustment area, so find the best for your reception at different times.

ours has been freezing on and off today ad alll news channels keep changing to various regions

but cant really complain as its working now - just curious as 2 know how to get nbc2 back

Last year's renewal was 110 euros and for that I get BBC1, BBC2, ITV, ITV4, CNN, Ch 4,CH5, Sky News, several foreign channels showing English or American films.... Picture quality in Silencio is very good

the OFFER from TELEFONICA to ME whom they RUNG was €5 per month off my ADSL AND increase my speed to 6mb this is for six months HOWEVER if after that date i sign a CONTRACT with them for a mobile then the discount of €5 is made for good. I HAVE NOT AND DID NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING TO GET THIS DISCOUNT
i now pay €14 line rental INC FREE LOCAL AND NATIONAL CALLS and €20 per month for 6mb ADSL
AND LAST WEEK IT JUMPED UP TO 12MB!!! for a few hours

has your friend on the mainland got internet TV with them as well

and it means nothing what happens there as to service here
if you live in santa cruz you can have 30MB inc your line rental for only €20 from ono

if its anything like SKY the offers are made by the computer to people it selectsxxxxx
