Think of ten easy to get products in the UK and 9.8 of them will not be available in Tenerife.

When I fitted some laminate flooring for someone recently for extra warmth underfoot I laid some fine cushioned sponge that was about 2mm thick and really made the difference. I got that from Raul tapiceria (typo?) you can fit that with normal lino and Robert's your mother's brother:)

I would advise against putting anything under cushionfloor vinyl. It's asking for trouble and is totally against any manufacturers regs.

If you're looking for comfort just buy a thicker cushionfloor.

You don't have to trust me but I started in the flooring game when I was 13 and I'm still in business now at 52....:old:......:tiphat:

It may be an idea to make a trip to Santa Cruz! Leroy Merlin definitely sell a selection of this type of flooring on a roll! I'm not sure that this sort of floor covering is that popular here as it's inclined to shrink and stretch in the hot weather.
