Hi all,
Could someone please provide me with a little more info what wikipedia provides other than global info. I am heavily into photography and i would like to go and photograph this flower known by many names - Echium wildpretii, tower of jewels, Mount Teide bugloss, Tajinaste Rojo - flower.
From internet research i understand it is in the area of Las Caņadas del Teide, however this is a large expanse area. Does anyone have a favourite spot or place they know for areas where this flower is available? It is also a biennial plant and flowers late spring, has anyone seen this happening yet or is it too early? I am hoping to capture the plant mid march if i am successful in finding some. Depending on the result of this topic i will next enquire about Almond trees and where best to photograph them next so if anyone has double the info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)
