For the Brits it is, we always have them with Golden Syrup. You can get everything you need at Iceland even ready made ones if you can't be bothered making them.:yum:

It's not a Spanish custom, but is rather known in English speaking countries.

Here in Ireland it is a very popular day :) It is also known as Shrove Tuesday . In the old days we would have a load of pancakes before we started our fasting for lent on Ash Wednesday ( tomorrow ) . :cooking::hungry: I would not be the best at making them myself but Odlums do a nice dried variety , where you add milk to the bottle and shake the mixture . They have the crepe ones and the American thick ones .
For the toppings we have maple syrup , or nutella and bananas , cinnamon and banana or the old reliable lemon and sugar :)

Don't worry about Weight Watchers today, stuff your face with everything that's good, that's why it's called Fat Tuesday.

i'm following that old adage "starve a fever, feed a cold" this week, i've had a stinker of a cold since Saturday, so no gym and ample intake, i've probably put on two kilos hahahaha, hence i'm eating double the amount of pancakes tonight :D

Although we have pancakes at home, the only pancakes we have when we're out in Tenerife come with Crispy Duck.
