Excuse the pun, but absolute bull***t reporting from this publication. Yes, bullfighting has been granted "cultural status" by central government, but both Catalunya and the Canarian Islands are not run under a PP majority, so can and will reject a U turn (both independent parties voted against the bill). The only way that bullfighting would take place in Tenerife is if the PP were to gain an overall majority here in the next regionals, which is about as likely as Obama taking his vacations in Veronicas this Summer.
