Do we have to arrange for a child car seat in a taxi from the airport?

Hi,just booked up for a holiday to this beautiful island,first one with sprog in tow.Im told the bus services across the island are excellent,but what are the laws regarding taking an infant (-2) on a bus or shuttle/taxi from the airport.Do we need to arrange to hire a car seat for the week? Many thanks for any help given.

Amazingly I don't think there are any we been lots with the kids eldest is 5 (she has been8 times)and 3 year old twins first time was when first was 4months old we hired a car with car seat because I was super worried but taxis bus coach have nothing just seat belts and that's the norm.

In Cars you do need a child seats as in the uk But not to put your child in a car seat and some thing happens then your child is a risk.The law is there for a reason. Taxi's and buses are a totally different though some taxis do carry them.
