The Apple shop in Santa Cruz???Calle Castillo just up from the Plaza de Espana, that would be my guess or contact Apple Espana and ask for repairers in Tenerife .

the replacement screens are not cheap even using my favorite supplier who are normally the cheapest.

For half that money you can get brand new Chinese Samsung s3

eBay is full of people selling 'genuine' screens - but these 'fake' Chinese copies do not perform as well as the real branded screen .

Yes the OEM replacement parts. Ebay does seem to give you a choice too If someone say's its a genuine replacement , its a genuine replacement. Paypal will see to that.

Here is a genuine replacement part, from a chap in Luton. even more expensive at 225 quid.

this post is not in anyway intended to be an advert for phone insurance..lol although the benefits become apparent when one breaks a screen on a iphone.

if its just the glass though these chaps do glass replacement from 29 quid, and its through the post

A friend of mine purchased a replacement screen online, it came with instructions on how to fit it, but when she tried to do it she ended up doing a lot of damage to her phone. If you do buy one online i would still recommend getting an expert to fit it.

Medanoman, you are not correct in the statement. People can say whatever they want - AND get away with it. What has Paypal got to do with it?? Paypal makes MONEY on the transactions, so it is not in it's interest to censor adverts.

I'm sorry to say that you are naive to believe everything purchased online is truly genuine - when they are actually cheap copies made in back street China.

In regards to cellphone screens - cheap copies means:

The back-lighting is not as bright,
Minimum back-light may not work (i.e. standby screen mode),
Viewing angle may be poor,
Resolution/dpi may not be the same as the genuine part.
Pixel type/manufacture may yield poorer display results,

etc, etc.

At the end of the day you pay for what you get.. as for paypal , or any other payment method for that matter there are fees.. In the case of ebay and paypal they go out of their way to try and protect the buyer thats all. any seller that misrepresents a product is liable to have all their ill-gotten gains clawed back, such is the nature of paypal and ebay terms of service. Not ideal, but better than a poke in the eye.
