How can I get a health & hygiene certificate?

Trying to find out where I can obtain the health and hygiene certificate needed to work with food. Have heard it may be possible to do it online but can't find any information about it. Anyone know anything?

"Ayuntamientos" used to run these courses for free so it's worth having a look to arona.org, adeje.es, call them directly or visit the "Centro Cultural" and ask.

Since 2010 there's the chance to do it online. Just google "carnet de manipulador de alimentos"
