My mate, who had just become father to a girl, was determined to call his daughter Emma.

He just couldn't understand why we all said, no.

His name is Dave Ridge.

We even tried to say to him, what if your name was Dave Royd?

He still couldn't get it.

There's a fourty-ish man who lives locally to me named Elvis Presley, Townsley, Bob Hope, Bullen, Pat Boone Mc#^*{+%

I've masked his surname just in case he's a forum member and I know he's embarrassed by his name, but when he's Pished he takes great pride in telling everybody.
