The Spa at the Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque, Tenerife has been chosen by readers of the prestigious Condé Nast Traveller magazine as the best spa in Spain.
The prestigious award was collected by Santiago Cabre, CEO of Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque, owned by the CIO Group.
This is the second consecutive year in which they have won the award.
Back in 2010 they received a distinction for Best Resort in Spain.
Santiago Cabre , CEO of Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque said, “the importance and uniqueness of this award is that are those magazine readers who vote through the website of the publication, which is a value added to this award, together with the prestige of the publishers”.
In addition, the award coincides with the celebration of the first anniversary of the prestigious French brand L’Occitane Spa in front of the Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque, which has been well received by customers, travel agents and journalists worldwide.
Inspired by the great climate and natural landscape of the island of Tenerife the spa at the Gran Hotel Bahia del Duque offers a menu of treatments based on the resources offered by the environment of Costa Adeje, the area where the hotel is located. Marine extracts, volcanic lava and aloe vera, Canarian indigenous raw materials are some of the ingredients that are used to develop the most innovative and amazing body and facial making up its menu of treatments
