It will go ahead when they can find a company that is both prepared to build it and pay for it. So don't hold you breath waiting for it to start.

Last I heard it was being built, but half the size for the same amount of money as the original size port was going to cost.....Having said that they have been planning to build this port for over 30 years (so says my mother in law)!

New harbour at LC, don't hold your breath. Same as the new beach that's been on the cards for 25 years, and they have had the money from the EU for that. Spent elsewhere.
