Are museums in Tenerife free to enter on Sundays?

Someone was telling me the other day that entry to the museums in the north is free on sundays, guessing this is for residents. I am planning a few trips for june with my 8 year old son. My question is, cn anybody recommend any that will be suitanle for my son that he will enjoy. He's crazy about all things animal, dinosaurs and space.

Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre, is a museum in Santa Cruz
It contains many significant archaeological finds and is considered the best repository of objects from the Pre-hispanic Canary Islands.

Museum of Science and the Cosmos can be found in La Laguna, or there is a Military Museum in Sta. Cruz (remember to take your passports for entry into this one.)
