How much do translators charge for written text?

Does anyone know how much translators charge generally for translating text please? English-Spanish or Spanish-English.

She also does accompaniment to hospitals and Spanish offices for translations for medical and bureaucratic visits.

To expensive. Go to www.proz.com and you will find a good translator for aprox. 5.00 € / 100 words.

I paid 215euros to have a UK POA translated into Spanish and thought it was very cheap as its a legal document and has to be done be a suitably qualified person

Don't forget that if it is a legal document i.e. Birth, marriage or any proper document it has to be notarised.

There are plenty of cheapies but you end up with something worthless.
