PLAY-OFF FINAL 2ND LEG
SUNDAY JUNE 2ND
kick off 11am - Live on TV Canaria

HOSPITALET vs CD TENERIFE

With Tenerife 3-1 up from the first leg they will be clear favourites to win the tie on aggregate and therefore gain promotion to the second division. But football being what it is they will have to keep on their toes, remember away goals count double so a 2-0 home victory will suffice for the Catalan based club.

Around 1,000 Tenerife fans will be present in Barcelona next week.

Most bars (you would expect) will be showing but the real place to go for atmosphere will be Santa Cruz in and around the Plaza de España. Also think plans are to show game on a large screen at the Parque Maritima in Santa Cruz.

Over 1,000 Tenerife fans travelling to the game now. Should be good.

Quite a few of the Armada Sur not going to Barcelona will be watching in SUTERS BAR - PARQUE DE LA REINA(opp. Karting). Kick off 11am.

IF we go up the celebrations at the airport (South) will be superb - team fly back and land at 9.30pm Sunday.
Best place to go for atmosphere however will be Santa Cruz - I thoroughly recommend it. Two large screens have been erected, one at the Parque Maritimo with free entrance. After the game IF we gain promotion everyone will head to the plaza de España for a dip in the lake!

Glad I logged on. Forgot it was on Tele.

Only saw the last few minutes of the first half, bit scrappy. 0-0 at half time.

They don't have a hedge AJ , just a plastic threadbare carpet to play on ! Never seen a ball bounce that way !

Well done Tenerife. Had to dig in there and they did. Well deserved promotion. Won the league, had the most wins, scored the most goals and conceeded the fewest. Can't do more than that.

Bring on Segunda.:wave::respect:

fantastic! all season "watching" the live scores on the segunda b site.......but today was away from the pc. glad i didn't suffer that lol. as an aside....would AWAY goals have counted double? or would it have gone to penalties after extra time if they had lost 2-0?

what a great season for both of my teams, I told you Chris the day after CDT got relegated take heart from NCFC, it was the best thing that happened to us,we came back up ,double promotion financially sound and the future is bright, there's no reason why CDT cannot emulate Norwich and do a double promotion

Another great trip for us, the biggest ever for Armada sur to mainland I think, with roughly 30 making the trip. Great to see the ones that came especially from the UK to support CDT. I have never pretended that the Tenerife support is incredible but to see 1.300 fans at a third tier away game was awesome. I am sure the 30 Armada Sur had an unforgettable weekend. Tour of Barcelona, on the Sunday 2 matches; watching Tenerife get promoted at midday then some of us went to see Barcelona b vs Villarreal in the late afternoon - now that was something else with 10,000 Villarreal away fans at match against the 1,000 or so Barcelona home fans. Bit of a shame hearing about all the celebrations we were missing back on the Island - santa cruz and south airport but it was good to be there in Catalunya ofcourse. As for the game itself, it really does not matter now WE ARE UP, but god was it nervy as Hospitalet gave came withing a whisker of winning. Tenerife could not get to grips with the astro turf pitch and the bounce of the ball was a nightmare.
Anyway we held on!!

It was great in the stands as the ground had more support from Tenerife than from the home fans
At least next year we have no astroturf
