Could a mod help please. I'm not receiving email notifications

Im not receiving e mail notifications for messages or threads although I have the option ticked in my profile. Have checked spam box! Thanks for any input

I may have an idea - it seems that problems arise when people use Internet Explorer as their browser - is this the case ? If so may I suggest you try another for example Chrome or Safari etc ?

I have checked your settings and all seems fine at this end.

BTW. The only Email notifications are for PMs

thanks for the answers guys, im using chrome & I used to get email notifications. But ive just had a thought. Maybe I should actually login to hotmail via the internet & see if they are being captured there as spam, as oposed to checking my pc spam folder. Im sure u will hear back if no joy. LOL

Im a bit confused SD as to what u r saying. In my profile, there is a setting Default Thread Subscription Mode:& I have receive daily as the option. But u r saying I should only receive email for PM ?

yep thats done it. It seems hotmail are a little over cautious with the trash can. Thanks again

Notifications are at the top of the page, when it refers to posts etc.

Email notifications are generally PM only (in case the member is not logged on here)
