This last match of the season is to determine the Champions of the whole 2nd B system (80 clubs). Both Tenerife and Alaves are promoted, that is done, but there is still another trophy up for grabs(as seen above - CDT have already won the trophy on the left). The return leg in Santa Cruz will be held a week later. It will be a good opportunity to cheer the players and manager after such a fantastic season. :party4:

There are 80 teams in 2B in 4 groups the winners play two and two and the two winners of these matches go up
The losers go back into groups who play two rounds with the 2,3 and 4 for two more places to go up

Yes, that is correct. Tomorrow LIVE on TV Canaria at 6pm. Head to Suters Bar Parque de La Reina if you like. I will be in there (hope that has´nt put you off!). :)

Tried always, won't load and I am in Tenerife and can't put it on TV OH watching Grand Prix. Sometimes I feel like getting a divorce.

Lost 2-0. Tenerife made many changes to team and had youth keeper between the sticks. Shame about the way the game went though as going into the very last minute we had a stonewall penalty turned down and then just after Alaves scored their second (93rd minute grrrrr).

Anyway, next Sunday we play them back at the Heliodoro. Remember this game is to find the Champions of the Champions - Nice to win but we are already up. It will be a party to greet the promoted Tenerife team, let´s see if we can pull this tie around, an early goal will be crucial. One thing for sure is that we have to go for it and it should be a cracking game. Special cheaper ticket prices as well. Vamos venga.

Alaves have had 2 players sent off.

Game finished with a 2-1 win for Tenerife. We started the game fantastically with two quick goals to equal the tie. Before the break though Alaves pulled a goal back through a very very dubvious penalty. Now the same player from Alaves received TWO yellow cards in the first half but the ref did not send him off despite fierce protests from Tenerife. Scandalous. :redcard:

At half-time the ref rectified and sent the player off. The 2nd half was a bit stop start as both teams tired. Alaves had another player sent off but this made them play alot deeper. With Tenerife missing both their wingers and top player left back Llorente they struggled but still had the odd chance. The game finished 2-1 so we lost on agg. Not the end of the world, we are up and this was just an extra trophy. Bit of a "game too far" for many especially as the players have only 3 weeks until the start of the pre-season!
