Either in the south or north of island. I need an art supplier shop. I know of only one in Los Chris.

There is an art shop in Granadilla on the right hand side of the street going towards the juzgados.

Where is the art shop in Los Christianos? I am bringing lots of materials with me at the end of July but will need to replace them. Can you recomend any art galleries for inspiration in Tenerife?

The art shop is on the top road. If you are by the white church you go up the steps at the side and turn left and its along there. He has quite a good selection of materials/

Horsedrawn Hi

I know this art shop in Los Chris on the top road. It's got a small section but not bad. Paper paints, pastels. Remember they close from 1pm or (1.30 not sure) to 4.30pm!

The big chinese retail places sell ready made framed canvas but it's plastic stuff of course.

PS I don't know of any inspirational art galleries but then I haven't looked further afield. Maybe others will know.

Many thanks for the suggestions. I am really looking forward to having time to paint. It needs to be in the morning though because after lunch I'm usually a little too relaxed. The pictures become a bit abstract then!

El Ajilbe which is under the Town Hall at San Miguel de Abona.
It is the old water cistern of the town and has a special atmosphere. Interesting, changing exhibitions there but opens and closes unpredictably.

I like the artistically arranged post! Thankyou. I could read it. I shall try to find the old water cistern under the San Miguel Town Hall.
