Where's the best place to buy a second hand car in south Tenerife??

Hi, my Dad (71) and brother (23) want to buy a second hand car for use whilst over in Tenerife. (In the process of moving over full time).
Where is a good, honest, reliable place to buy from? We are located Los Cristianos. Would this be a better option than renting a car long term?

Also any advice on paperwork / insurance / tax would be appreciated. They both also have a no claims bonus in the UK and were wondering if that would mean anything in Spain.
