How can I get a copy of a birth certificate for someone born in Tenerife?

Hi,
We have moved back to the UK some years ago and I have lost my child's Spanish birth certificate that was issued in Los Cristanos, he was born in the Las Americas hospital.
I wondered if anyone knew how I could get a copy of it without having to travel back to TFS.
Any help appreciated.
